Profiles and Tubes for Medical Applications

Medical tubing is an important component of devices which deliver fluids to and from the body. These medical tubes which are small and complex custom plastic extrusions often contain multiple chambers so that different fluids including drugs can be transmitted through the same fine plastic tube. The tolerances achieved on these extruded plastic profiles and sections are extremely tight. They are specified to meet both their functional requirements and to fit tightly into other components within the medical devices.

Flexible medical grade tubing is manufactured in PVC in our clean area. We can produce either single, dual or triple lumens tubes which can be supplied cut to length or as reel stock for you to cut to your own requirements. In addition to multi lumen tubes, co-extruded medical grade tubing is also available.

Condale can select suitable materials for gamma or ETO (ethylene oxide) sterilisation methods. We can also supply anti-bacterial additives for medical applications where cleanliness is a priority.

We offer medical tubes in a range of flexible materials including PVC, Polyurethane (TPU), TPE (SEBS) and TPV in a variety of Shore A hardnesses.

All medical tubing items manufactured are supplied double packed.

Our clean manufacturing facility was opened in 2005. Equipped with new extruders it is located in its own building separately from our commercial lines. It has its own independent power supply, compressed air and water cooling system.
