Lighting Diffusers, Lenses and Refractors

Condale have developed many bespoke plastic profiles for the lighting market in recent years gaining considerable experience in producing lighting profiles, lenses, luminaires and plastic refractors and reflectors. With this knowledge we are able to offer precise technical input at the design stage of any new lighting product which may incorporate specifically designed linear prisms for lenses and controllers giving specific photometry.

Lighting Diffusers We offer a range of materials for lighting covers from cost effective styrenes to VO rated polycarbonates with excellent fire retardant (FR) and impact properties, which meet the stringent lighting design and safety requirements of the bus, rail and aircraft industries. Co-extruded options are also available providing either twin colour profiles or lenses incorporated within an otherwise structural profile.

Our portfolio also includes very recent innovations in lighting diffusers and refractors, including materials with aesthetically attractive surface finishes such as frosted, satin and opal. These also provide excellent light diffusion and high light output. This effect is also available in both acrylic and polycarbonate, materials which are particularly suitable for covers, lenses and diffusers of LED lighting products.
